Who’s to blame, who’s going to pay? A climate crisis negotiation game

Friday, 24.11.2023
from 14:00 to 15:30

The climate crisis is becoming more acute. Forest fires and floods or storms that devastate entire regions are growing increasingly common. July 2023 was the hottest month since records began. The Paris Agreement marks a way forward, but adaptation and transformation are expensive and pose major challenges, especially for poorer countries and regions. Old and new industrial countries also have their work cut out. How can financing problems be solved? How can the burdens be distributed fairly? What would help the planet the most?

These are questions we’d like to discuss with you. You will take on the role of an affected country and negotiate a solution – join us!
