What’s on the agenda in 2020?

Your heart beats faster when it comes to Europe? Would you like to help shape the future of the continent? Do you have an opinion and would like to exchange views with others? The Euro20+ event offers you the ideal platform for this.

Due to COVID-19, this year’s Euro20+ will be held in a digital format – you will work on your proposals and ideas in virtual workshops, which will take place from 26 to 29 October. To join the workshops, you will receive an individual link in advance that will give you exclusive access to participate in a small group. If you apply quickly, you will also have the best chance of being able to take part in your favourite workshop. You are all welcome to attend the town hall meeting with Jens Weidmann on Friday, 30 October.

The main topic of Euro20+ this year is the future strategy of the European Central Bank. The ECB, together with the 19 central banks of the euro area, began a review of their strategy in January 2020. This is so they can ensure that the monetary policy strategy of the euro area countries is fit for purpose today and in the future. The ECB would like to ask the citizens of Europe what they can improve. This is why a number of countries are holding events such as Euro20+, where anyone can give their feedback to the ECB and the Bundesbank – so we hope you take this opportunity to share your views!

More information on the strategy review can be found on the websites of the EZB and the Bundesbank.
